eIRB 101

“eIRB 101” will provide a technical overview of how to use the IRB’s new submission system, eIRB. This session will review how to access eIRB, submit various types of applications, and track submissions. Presenters will also discuss how to update currently approved expedited and full board protocols in eIRB. There will be plenty of time for Q&A. How to Submit Initial Protocols

“How to Submit Initial Protocols” will cover everything you need to know about submitting a new initial application for IRB review. This session will focus on the substance of an IRB application rather than technical elements of the eIRB platform. Presenters will focus on submission requirements for both clinical and social-behavioral research including what to include in a protocol and what supplementary documents are required for review. Exempt, expedited, and full board review procedures will be explained.   You must register to attend. Please contact Diana Floegel with any questions or if you have trouble registering!

Are you interested in a tailored IRB presentation for your group? Do you have a suggestion for an IRB Educational Series Workshop? Each semester the IRB hosts workshops on topics of interest as part of IRB Educational Series. Additionally, IRB representatives often offered tailored trainings to research teams, departments or classes.
Please, select the appropriate option below to either 1) generally suggest a training topic for the RB Educational Series or 2) submit a specific request to have a an IRB representative present to your group.
